Larry has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry, combining his passion for both numbers and people to champion the importance of financial literacy among his clients. As a Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC), Larry is held to a Fiduciary standard, which means he is bound by legal and ethical obligation to consider the best financial interests of his clients when pursuing investment decisions. Larry takes a holistic approach to financial planning providing advice on income tax, retirement planning, risk management, estate planning and investments. He understands that true well-being encompasses everything from investments and retirement planning to personal life goals and dreams.
After 23 years of service in the US Army, Larry has had a wide range of experiences including working in a Battalion Operations section, being a Course Manager for an Instructor Training course spanning 5 states, to running small arms qualification ranges; he has been able to transition that same strategic mindset to his financial planning practice. Larry has helped countless clients and other advisers navigate their financial journeys, empowering them to achieve stability and financial health.
Residing in East Lansing with his wife Jennifer, Larry is a proud father of two sons: Andrew, who serves as an officer in the US Air Force alongside his wife Lindsey, and Jack, currently attending Miami University in Ohio. In his free time, Larry enjoys family time, military history, and traveling—balancing both his personal and professional life with a broader perspective.
